Hi, I'm Jay Hummel

For over 12 years, I've been helping adults—especially those aged 50–80—feel confident and comfortable with technology. I started My Computer Techie because I saw how many smart, capable people felt left behind by the rapid pace of tech changes.

Big-box tech support felt rushed and impersonal. Friends and family were often too busy to really teach. I knew there had to be a better way.

My approach is simple: I meet you where you are. I explain things in plain English, take the time you need, and never make you feel silly for asking a question. Whether you're learning to video chat with grandkids or protecting your business from cyber threats, I'm here to help.

Now based in Fort Myers, Florida, I also provide secure remote support to clients anywhere in the USA. As an Apple partner, I stay current on the latest technology so you don't have to. My promise is patient, friendly service that makes technology work for you—not the other way around.
